Car rental delivery Cars Available to Rent in Paris
Showing 1-12 of 32 carsThere is no counter in this story. Car rental delivery means the car comes to you, and at gorentcar it isn't a premium add-on, it's how the service works: the car arrives at your hotel, apartment, office or at CDG and Orly arrivals, the handover happens where you are, and at the end of the rental we collect it the same way. No rental village at the edge of the airport, no shuttle, no queue behind a family disputing an insurance charge. This page explains what delivery includes, how the handover actually goes, and the timing tricks that get the most out of it.
Where we deliver, and what it costs
Anywhere that makes sense for the rental: hotels and apartments across Paris, business addresses and work sites, and the arrivals at Charles de Gaulle and Orly. Delivery and collection are included in the rental price you see at booking. The figure on the screen already contains the trip to your door. For airport handovers, add your flight number when you book. It converts a delay from your panic into our tracking problem, and the car meets the flight you actually arrive on rather than the one on the original itinerary.
Collection mirrors delivery. The car leaves from wherever the rental ends, which doesn't have to be where it began: delivered to an apartment on Tuesday, collected at Orly departures on Sunday is a normal week for us.
How the handover works
Plan ten minutes, not an hour. You show the licence, the passport or ID and the bank card, all in the main driver's name. We walk the car together, agree its condition and fuel level, and the keys change hands. The same walk-around happens at collection, which protects you as much as us, since the condition you return is recorded with both parties standing there rather than assessed later in a depot.
What you need ready is the same short list as any rental with us: driver aged 21 or over, licence held a year, and if your licence isn't in the Latin alphabet, the International Driving Permit next to it. No deposit is taken at the door. Visa Debit and Mastercard Debit work fine. If someone else will drive too, they need to be present with their documents at handover to sign.
Timing it like a local
Delivery is most valuable when it's aimed well, so aim it. Arriving long-haul into CDG, have the car meet the flight and be on the A1 while the taxi queue is still forming. Staying in Paris a few days before a road trip, don't take the car early to watch it sit in a garage. Set delivery for the morning the driving starts, and spend the city days on the métro where they're cheaper and faster anyway. That split is the whole strategy behind renting well as a visitor to Paris.
Leaving on a Friday? Book a Saturday-dawn delivery instead and skip the périphérique at its worst. You lose an evening on paper and gain most of it back on the road. And for out-of-hours needs, late flights, dawn departures, tell us the constraint at booking. Slots vary by location and demand, but a constraint we know about in advance is usually one we can solve.
FAQ — Common Questions Answered.
How much does car delivery cost in Paris?
It's included in the rental price shown at booking. There's no separate delivery line to add at checkout, whether the address is a hotel in the Marais, an office in La Défense or the arrivals hall at CDG. That's the practical difference from desks that list delivery as a chargeable extra: with us the price you compare is already the delivered price.
Can you deliver to CDG or Orly when my flight lands?
Yes, airport arrivals are our most common delivery point. Book with your flight number and the handover is timed to your actual landing. If the flight is late, we track it and wait, rather than you paying for hours the airline burned. After a long-haul arrival, the ten-minute handover at the terminal beats the shuttle-plus-counter circuit by most of an hour.
What do I need to have with me at handover?
Three documents in the main driver's name: your driving licence held for at least a year, a passport or national ID, and your bank card, with Visa Debit and Mastercard Debit accepted. Non-EU visitors whose licence isn't in Latin script should have their International Driving Permit alongside. Any additional drivers attend with their own licence and ID to sign the contract on the spot.
Can the car be collected from a different place than delivery?
Yes, and it's one of delivery's best features: start the rental at your apartment and end it at Orly, or start at CDG and end at a hotel across town. State both points at booking so the pricing and logistics are fixed upfront. If the return point changes mid-rental, contact us as early as possible and we'll rearrange, subject to scheduling.
Can I get the car delivered late at night or early morning?
Often yes, if we know at booking. Handover slots depend on location and demand, and a 6 a.m. airport delivery we've planned for is routine, while the same request improvised the evening before may not be possible. Put the constraint in the booking notes, flight times included, and we'll confirm the slot before you commit rather than leaving it to chance.
